Today we were on an excursion to Hvolris Jernalderlandsby neaby Bjerregrav, only 12 km from Vamnen. Here you can both see an area with archaeological excavations, a house with an exhibition with archaeological finds and jiron age houses, where you can see how people lived 2000 years ago.

Our common evening walk through Vammen with rafting tour was mega nice! A big thank you to the guide Patrick Wirtz, the catering team (Ida and her children) and to the captain Henk de Vries!

This years season is starting out well, with music and camp fire in the evening. A big thanks to all the volunteers who have helped out preparing the campsite this year!

In the last few days we have enjoyed the great spring weather (admitted it is technically still winter..) and are preparing for the coming season.

A view at the lake at sunset is just a view we continue to enjoy. We are looking forward to enjoy the company of you all again this summer! 🙂

Thank you all for an incredible summer. We had a record of great summer days with all of you! 27 degrees in the water in the lake and music in the evening celebrating 40 years of Vammen Camping. We are looking forward to seeing you all next year!
