Booking and payment
If you book a stay with your own caravan/tent/auto-camper 30% of the total reservation amount is payable upon booking and the rest upon departure. Any additional electricity consumption, additional persons, etc. must be paid at the latest on departure.
If you book an accommodation in a hut or glamping tent, the full amount is payable upon booking. Any additional electricity consumption, additional persons, etc. must be paid at the latest on departure.
As soon as we receive your booking, Vammen Camping will send you a booking confirmation by email. If you do not receive an email with your booking confirmation, please check your spam filter or junk email box.

When you receive your booking confirmation, it is your responsibility to check that the period and unit selected are correct.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the campground (however not in our cabin huts and glamping tents.). Dogs must be kept at a short leash at all times on the campground. Remember to remove all dog poo immediately should an “accident” happen 🙂 You may walk the dag on the recreational area right next to the campground.
Stay on the site
Please be considerate of other campers and be aware of night-time sleeping during the period 23:00 – 7:00.
The rules on the campsite are in the interest of harmonious coexistence and are set by the campsite manager. Please follow the instructions from the campsite manager and his assistant(s).
Arrival and departure
Vammen camping cannot be held liable for the availability of a rental. If you cannot reach the campsite on time due to transport problems (e.g. because of cancelled flights/trains, car breakdown, traffic, border closings etc.), no compensation is payable.
Certain pitches and accommodation cannot be guaranteed, but we make every attempt to meet your preferences. Once you have started your holiday with us, the booked time is binding and cannot be transferred to another party.
Glamping and huts
Arrival from 14:00. Departure by 11:00.
Camping
Your pitch will be ready by 14:00, and must be vacated by 11:00.
Guests
Visiting guests are welcome at the campsite for a fee (please see the price list for details). Visiting guests must check-in in the reception before entering the campsite area. The host at the campsite is responsible for guests during their visit. If the guest wants to stay on the campsite after 22:00, the general overnight fee will be charged.
Smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted in any of our huts or glamping tents. The same applies to e-cigarettes. Violation of this rule will incur a cleaning fee of minimum DKK 1000.
Smoking in general: Please be considerate on outdoor public areas, and always put cigarette butts in the bins provided. Smoking is not permitted in indoor public areas. The same applies to e-cigarettes.
The responsibilities of guests
Tenants renting huts and glamping tents are fully liable for fixtures and fittings during their stay. Damage and missing fixtures and fittings due to the tenant are payable upon check out. The tenant named on the rental agreement is also liable for damage caused by other guests in the tenancy. Huts and glamping tents cannot sleep more guests than the number stated on the reservation. At least one guest over the age of 18 must be present throughout the stay. Cabins and Glamping tents must be cleaned according to the instructions of the campsite. Extra cleaning will be charged at 295 DKK per hour.
Complaints
- Vammen Camping will do everything to ensure you enjoy a stay to remember. However, things can go wrong, and if you find anything unsatisfactory, please contact the reception. If a rental unit is unsatisfactory due to poor cleaning or damage and we are not aware of it, please contact the reception as soon as possible after check in (within 2 hours). Complaints concerning cleaning, for example, that are not made until departure will not be considered.
- Vammen Camping cannot be held liable for the presence of animals and insects, as the campsite is located in the countryside.
- Complaints made after returning home must be received by us within 7 days after departure. Please write to info@vammencamping.dk.
- In the event of disagreement, legal proceedings can be taken at the District Court in Viborg according to Danish law.
Prices and discounts
Vammen Camping’s prices are adjusted regularly. Please refer to our website for current prices. We reserve the right to cancel a tenancy agreement that contains typos and/or other errors. Discounts cannot be combined.

Force Majeure and the like
If fulfillment of a rental agreement is impossible – or can only be fulfilled under extreme difficulty – due to force majeure or similar circumstances, including (but not limited to): war, rebellion, natural disasters, oil and petrol rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, suspension of currency trading, extreme weather, drought, floods, closed borders, traffic conditions, strikes, lockouts and the like that could not have been foreseen when entering into the rental agreement, Vammen Camping is entitled to cancel the rental agreement, as it cannot be held liable in such circumstances.
In the event of such circumstances, Vammen Camping shall inform the tenant as soon as possible. No refund of any amount paid is due. However, the tenant will receive a voucher for the amount paid. The voucher can be used to purchase a new stay within a period of 3 years.
