The right to change your mind and refunds
Please note that your booking is not covered by the rules of the Danish Consumer Protection Act on the right to change your mind. Sales of accommodation (huts, summerhouses, camping, etc.) are covered by a special derogation provision in Section 18 (2), no. 12 of the Act. Bookings made are therefore not covered by the 14 day right to change your mind.
Illness
We rely on most guests having cancellation insurance through their family/household insurance or via their credit card. The return of the amount paid is a matter between you and your insurance company.
Cancellation of camping
Accommodation in your own caravan, auto camper or tent etc.
You may move a reservation to a different arrival date, as long as we have available pitches, at no extra cost. Please send us an email at info@vammencamping.dk with your request.
If you cancel a reservation the payment conditions are as follows:
- More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund minus a 250 DKK fee
- 30 days or less before arrival: 70% refund of the total amount of the reservation (min. payment: 250 DKK)
The above dates are from the original booking. I.e. moving a reservation ahead in time will not change the cancelation deadlines.
Cancelations must be done via phone or email.
Cancelation of glamping and cabin huts
If you cancel a reservation the payment conditions are as follows:
- More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund minus a 500 DKK fee
- 60 to 30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total amount of the reservation (min. payment: 500 DKK)
- 30 days or less before the arrival: No refund
