Length: 2.8 km
A sail from Vammen Camping and out to the jetty in Fastrup. The western part of Tjele Langsø is generally the deepest part of the lake, with Fastrup Dyb at 16.9 meters, a point located east of the planned route.
When sailing out, you must round a point on the northern shore before the jetty becomes visible. Note that the area is somewhat overgrown and it can be difficult to spot the bridge from a distance. There is no actual beach, but on the bridge there are tables and benches to enjoy your food.
Just east of Fastrup is also the widest point of the lake, at approximately 750 meters. See the historical depth map at the bottom of the page.
Be aware that the trip home can be tougher due to wind conditions, as well as physical fatigue.
