At the junction, turn right onto N\u00f8rregade toward Hersom. Pass the village hall and the church, and head downhill through Nederby \u2013 the oldest part of Vammen. Continue straight into Skals River Valley \u2013 a tunnel valley from the last Ice Age.     . Cross the Skals River.<\/p>\n\n<p>At the T-junction, turn right at the sign post &#8220;\u00d8rris 2&#8221; onto \u00d8rrisvej. After 1 km, H\u00e6rup Lake appears on the right, surrounded by protected hills. Follow the paved road. At the T-junction, turn right at the sign post &#8220;Troelstrup 1&#8221; (Sognevej). After 600 m, turn right again at the next junction at the sign post &#8220;Klejtrup 4&#8221;. Ride 1.2 km straight and turn right at the sign post &#8220;H\u00e6rup S\u00f8&#8221; (H\u00e6rupvejen). After 1.2 km there is a parking lot on the right. From here, two marked hiking trails lead into the protected area around H\u00e6rup Lake.       <\/p>\n\n<p>At the next T-junction (white farm on the left), turn left onto the paved road (straight ahead are two burial mounds). At the next T-junction (after 1.4 km), turn right, and shortly after enter Klejtrup. Keep to the right all the way, toward Hobro. On the outskirts of town, you\u2019ll find the World Map (Verdenskortet) and Klejtrup Lake on the left.    <\/p>\n\n<p>Shortly after, turn right at the sign post &#8220;Lindum 4&#8221; (Brohusvej). At the next T-junction, turn right at the sign post &#8220;Lindum 3&#8221; (Lindumvej). After crossing the Skals River, you\u2019ll enter Lindum Forest. At the junction Erikstrupvej &#8211; Dr\u00f8wten, you can choose to go straight ahead at the sign &#8220;Vammen 8&#8221; (through the forest) or turn left on Dr\u00f8wten and extend the trip by about 3 km., you can either go straight ahead at the sign post &#8220;Vammen 8&#8221; (through the forest) or turn left and extend the route by about 3 km.   <\/p>\n\n<p>If choosing the left route &#8220;Lindum 3&#8221; (Dr\u00f8wten), follow the winding road to Lindum. There, turn right at the sign post &#8220;Vammen 8&#8221;. About 1 km outside Lindum, you can either continue straight toward Vammen or turn left at the sign post &#8220;Bigum 2&#8221; (Lergravsvej), following the paved road through Bigum, which leads back to the Lindum-Vammen road \u2013 turn left there.  <\/p>\n\n<p>If choosing the straight route &#8220;Vammen 8), The paved road continues through the forest and past H\u00f8ndrupvej.
