The road leads past Forsamlingshuset on the left. <\/p>\n\n<p>Vammen Church from around 1200 has a Romanesque apse, choir and nave. The tower and porch are late Gothic additions. <\/p>\n\n<p>You now walk through the oldest part of Vammen, Nederby, and turn right on \u00d8ster K\u00e6rvej at the wastewater treatment plant.<\/p>\n\n<p>Today, the meadows are mainly used for grazing and haymaking or just lie fallow. This provides opportunities for a rich bird and animal life and an abundance of fauna. On the right is a beautiful gorge formed during the Ice Age (30 meter rise).  <\/p>\n\n<p>On the north side of Skals\u00e5dalen are the protected and heather-clad H\u00e6rup Bakker, where fallow deer and roe deer roam in herds.<\/p>\n\n<p>Continue along \u00d8ster K\u00e6rvej on the dark blue marked route. Shortly after Moseg\u00e5rd (you&#8217;ll see Fastruplund Forest ahead), the gravel road turns right &#8211; continue following the blue markers all the way to Vammen either via L\u00f8ndalen or straight ahead to N\u00f8rregade. Turn left onto N\u00f8rregade and at the grocery store intersection, turn left onto Hobrovej.
